My Experience Studying English in Sixth Grade
Introduction: English is one of the most important subjects for students in China, and I was fortunate enough to start learning it in the sixth grade. It was a new and exciting challenge for me, and I learned a lot during the course of the school year.
Learning the Basics
At the beginning of the school year, our English teacher focused on teaching us the basics of the language. We learned how to introduce ourselves, how to ask and answer simple questions, and how to talk about our hobbies and interests. I found this part of the course to be relatively easy because we had already learned some basic English in elementary school. By the end of the year, I was able to write an essay about my favorite book without any major grammatical errors.
